This webinar is a Masterclass in Pain and Management for Frontline Health Care Practitioners with A review of the burden, its affect and the role of OTC self-medication. Balancing pain and patient safety following acute musculoskeletal trauma and injury is possible when utilizing a true multimodal approach including cognitive, physical, and pharmaceutical strategies. The sessions will look at principles and dimensions in an initial consultation for better acute management and what consultations could look like from simple first assessment and approaches to more complex treatment plans. The sessions will also cover how frontline healthcare professionals can enhance the importance of early acute treatment and help patients implement lifestyle changes to better self-manage their pain. Strategies of how to quickly possess knowledge on the dimensions of the patient background, lifestyle choices and treatment tried with success or failure, before making a decision on the appropriate plan of action will also be covered.  4.5 CME/CE Hours Total. (3) 90-minute sessions each having 3-4 speakers; 1.5 CME hours per session.
